Custom Textured Glass Tile

TEXTURED glass tiles are the first to meet and exceed ASTM tests set forth by ANSI standards for commercial and residential floor, wall and pool applications. Images are applied to the backside of the glass to protect the dyes from wear and abrasion. Tempered glass tiles cannot be cut, so for applications where cutting is necessary ( corners, holes, etc. in floor installations), you would order our non-tempered tile. Tempering is added to the larger tiles for strength. The 6 x6 and 6 x 8 tiles meet the ANSI and ASTM standards above without tempering. The 8 x 10 tiles are always tempered, and the 12 x 12 tiles are offered in tempered and non-tempered.

The non-tempered tile may be cut with a glass cutter, or a tile saw (wet saw application, diamond blade). We only recommend MegaFlex Ultimate Thin-Set Mortar in White for mounting the textured glass tile in any application, which you can purchase from most hardware stores. This adhesive is also readily available in most areas, and has exhibited superior bond strength without damaging the Single Step white backing on the tiles. You should use a grout specifically formulated for use with glass tile. Tiles can be cleaned with any household non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.

The Tile Process

All tile orders are done through e-mail, phone, or at my studio office, by appointment only.

When you send photos through e-mail, save as a jpeg, tiff, or bmp format before sending. Once I receive photos, I will contact you regarding design and deposit. Once deposit is received you will be given a time frame for your Art Tile.
